🚫 I need fancy equipment to start producing content 🚫

No. You don't.

πŸ“Ή You don't need a fancy camera or lights to start a youtube channel.
πŸŽ™ You don't need an amazing microphone or studio to start a podcast.
πŸ’» You don't need the best computer to build something amazing.

In fact, I would argue it's the exact opposite.

⬇️ Start small.
πŸ“± Record your video or podcast on your phone.
✏️ Practice making content.
πŸ’₯ Learn what you're passionate about.
πŸ™Œ Provide value.

You can always upgrade the equipment or quality later.

Waiting for the best equipment is really just an excuse. It's a way to procrastinate the creative process.

Don't do it.

Genuine Connections = ⬆️ Sales

Genuine Connections = ⬆️ Sales

I just had an incredible conversation in the LinkedIn DMs with someone that I really look up to.

He posted a story and I sent him a quick message related to what he was talking about in the story.

This turned into an amazing GENUINE conversation about our businesses and goals.

The intention of this conversation wasn’t to sell.
I wasn’t spamming him.

Instead, I was building a real relationship.

We are now talking about potentially collaborating and doing business together.

Want more sales? Create relationships.

πŸ€” Selling Services vs. Selling Value πŸ€”

πŸ€” Selling Services vs. Selling Value πŸ€”

‼️ Spoiler Alert: Selling value is better.

I've been thinking a lot about this lately.

**I’ll use my business as an example:**

I can say that I provide:
- Branding
- Websites
- Podcasts
- SEO
- Digital Marketing
- ...

OR, I can sell:
- Business growth
- Clarity of vision
- An audience
- More leads
- More sales.

What's better?

Obviously it’s better to sell value.

There are millions of website designers in the world. If I simply sell websites, my potential clients could literally go anywhere else and receive the same service. Selling value on the other hand lets them know what transformation you can create in their life. It’s much harder for competitors to compete on that.

PS: My LinkedIn headline will be changing soon. I don't think "JMH Media. ⭐️ Creating Brands | πŸ–₯ Websites | πŸŽ™ Podcasts | ✍🏻 Content | πŸ”₯ Digital Marketing" fits my new vision.
