🧐 Why do you post content on LinkedIn (or why don't you?)

I've been thinking about this question a lot lately, and here are some of my reasons:
πŸ’¬ It gives me an opportunity to share my thoughts.
πŸ“ˆ It helps me grow my network and meet new people.
πŸ™Œ It spreads awareness of my personal and business brands.
😳 I feel like I should (hey, I'm trying to be honest here, and it feels like everyone is saying you have to post consistently)

Why do (or don't) you post on LinkedIn? πŸ‘‡πŸ»

πŸ€” Selling Services vs. Selling Value πŸ€”

πŸ€” Selling Services vs. Selling Value πŸ€”

‼️ Spoiler Alert: Selling value is better.

I've been thinking a lot about this lately.

**I’ll use my business as an example:**

I can say that I provide:
- Branding
- Websites
- Podcasts
- SEO
- Digital Marketing
- ...

OR, I can sell:
- Business growth
- Clarity of vision
- An audience
- More leads
- More sales.

What's better?

Obviously it’s better to sell value.

There are millions of website designers in the world. If I simply sell websites, my potential clients could literally go anywhere else and receive the same service. Selling value on the other hand lets them know what transformation you can create in their life. It’s much harder for competitors to compete on that.

PS: My LinkedIn headline will be changing soon. I don't think "JMH Media. ⭐️ Creating Brands | πŸ–₯ Websites | πŸŽ™ Podcasts | ✍🏻 Content | πŸ”₯ Digital Marketing" fits my new vision.

Need Some Website Tips?

πŸ–₯ Need some website tips? πŸ‘πŸ»

We just launched a new website for the Self Improvement Daily Podcast.

I was honored when Brian Ford came to me looking to improve the website for his podcast. I've been a long time listener, an I was excited to help with the rebrand and new website launch.

Here are some tips based on the decisions we made:

- Create an attractive catchy header.
- Include a picture of yourself. It provides a human element to the site.
- Break up large sections of text when possible.
- Include social proof on the site.
- Make sure that you have a page featuring each piece of content for SEO purposes.

Let me know what you think of the site. If you have any feedback or ways we could make it even better, don't hesitate to let Brian or myself know.

Collaboration is powerful.

🀝 Collaboration is powerful.
🚫Don’t go it alone!

Throughout my life, I’ve had a lot of interests and I’ve been able to learn things quickly. Because of this, I’ve been relatively good at almost everything and It was so easy for me to be a β€œone man show.” I’m branching out and learning to work better with others, and it’s amazing. Here are some things I’m learning:

πŸ’ͺ🏻 Even if you’re good at something, someone else might be better.

🎯 Specialize in the things that 1) you’re an expert in, and 2) bring you joy. Outsource or partner with others for the rest.

πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸŽ“ When you work with others, learn from them. They’ll have a different perspective and different skills.

πŸ“ˆ Leverage each other’s network and resources.

I’m always looking to get to know more people. Don’t hesitate to reach out. Maybe we can collaborate!
