Many of you may not know, but I am a devout member of my faith.
I’ve been extremely quiet about it on LinkedIn because I wasn’t sure that a business platform was a good place to talk about religion or faith. I’ve decided to change that. My religion and faith are a huge part of who I am. They’ve had a huge impact on my values and the way I conduct business.
Starting today, I’m going to post something faith promoting every Sunday. I believe that spirituality and faith can be a huge force for good in the world... yes, also in business.
Today’s thought: God loves you. Business can be hard and lonely, but know that you are a child of God and that he is fighting for your success.

People want to do business with other people. NOT with some corporate entity. Even large corporations often have personalities attached to them. Think Elon Musk and Tesla or John Legere and T-Mobile.
We want to do business with people we KNOW, LIKE, and TRUST.
Content is the way people get to know, like, and trust your business.
Create value, and people will provide value back to you.

Does building a brand take too much work?
If I'm honest, I think about this almost every day. It takes a lot of energy to consistently show up. It takes a lot of effort and time... Is it even worth it?
I'd argue that it is (that's probably not a surprise though).
You see, it's precisely BECAUSE it is so hard that it is worth it.
Let me explain - If building a powerful brand was easy, everyone would have one... and then no one would. Marketing is about STANDING OUT from the competition. In order to stand out, you have to be doing something they aren't.
Put in the work. It'll be worth it! :)
