Words are powerful. Whether talking on a podcast or youtube video or writing copy for a website or social media post, your words give your ideal clients an opportunity to get to know you better. They also attract more of your ideal clients.

Here are some highlights from our conversation:
- Businesses aren’t investing in copywriting.
- If your copy could be on a competitor’s website, it isn’t good. It should uniquely apply to your business.
- Talk to your customers! Conduct interviews or send out surveys. Use your customer’s words in your copy. Talk like they talk.
- “Copy is not written. Copy is assembled.”

While I'm no expert on this subject, my personal opinion is to just say it how it is.
If you're too expensive for them, no big deal you weren't a right fit.
If you could have gone higher... no use stressing over it now!

🤔 Selling Services vs. Selling Value 🤔
‼️ Spoiler Alert: Selling value is better.
I've been thinking a lot about this lately.
**I’ll use my business as an example:**
I can say that I provide:
- Digital Marketing
OR, I can sell:
- Business growth
- Clarity of vision
- An audience
- More leads
- More sales.
Obviously it’s better to sell value.
There are millions of website designers in the world. If I simply sell websites, my potential clients could literally go anywhere else and receive the same service. Selling value on the other hand lets them know what transformation you can create in their life. It’s much harder for competitors to compete on that.

🚫 Don’t get so focused on success that you don’t see it right in front of you! 😳
I’m always wanting more. In part, that’s what makes me an entrepreneur. I have a burning desire to succeed, and work my tail off to do so.
That said, sometimes I’m so focused on the hustle and pursuit of success that I fail to celebrate and recognize the small wins.
