A #branding lesson from #Apple
β
π§ Apple just released a $549 pair of headphones π§
π€ Yes, you heard me right. $549.
π And they've already sold out.
π€·πΌββοΈ Why? How is it that they can sell a product that's so much more expensive than their competitors?
It's all about the brand.
Apple has two incredibly powerful brands behind this new product: Apple and AirPods.
They've built trust that they can build a premium experience with headphones.
Let's learn from Apple. The better your brand is, the more you can charge for your products and services because they'll be in higher demand.
π Time to start working on your brand.

β My first business was an absolute failure... π«
I grew up in a large family. My Dad, a small business owner and entrepreneur, taught me to work hard and dream big. I remember some of my favorite moments with him were talking about business or coming up with new business ideas.
β‘οΈ When I was 16, I started a business with a goal to sell and install wind turbines and solar panels. I contacted a manufacturer, and even became an official reseller.
π© I didnβt sell one wind turbine or solar panel.
ππ» That said, I learned valuable skills. I built a website for my little business. Admittedly, it wasn't a great website, but that was the start to the path that I'm still on today.
π€ Was it really a failure? I guess it depends on how you define success and failure. What metrics do you use to measure them?
Tell me about some of your "failures"! ππ»

Read Postπ€ Why is content so valuable? π§
Let me tell you! ππ»
People want to do business with other people. NOT with some corporate entity. Even large corporations often have personalities attached to them. Think Elon Musk and Tesla or John Legere and T-Mobile.
We want to do business with people we KNOW, LIKE, and TRUST.
Content is the way people get to know, like, and trust your business.
Create value, and people will provide value back to you.
If you need help with this, don't hesitate to let me know.
